I walked up to the bar, “Bud Light”.  “That'll be two dollars please.” The bartender said as she handed me my drink.  I then walked over to where Stryke Three had set up their equipment and waited to meet the group.  It was only a few seconds of goggling their equipment when Scott Carlisle, lead guitarist, appeared.  We made our introductions and then again later when Boyd Porowski, Bassist, and Jason Parrent, Drummer, began setting up to play the first set.  All ready I was comfortable talking to these guys as they appeared very friendly and confident in their work.  I then snapped a couple of photos and then took a seat as they began their set.
1 single person, I believed to be a female, was moving near the band attempting to dance or was just staggering.  This gal, as was pointed out, could have won an Ozzy Osbourne look-a-like contest.   The band's genre covered the range of Rock, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock and some Grundge.  They performed an array of songs by Creed, Three Doors Down, Pink Floyd, The Georgia Satellites and many others.  Their sound, for a three-piece band, was remarkable.  It came together as if there were more to them.  The vocal styles of Scott and Boyd were different enough to allow them the luxury of covering the styles of music they performed and Jason, the drummer, was no exception.
Then the heckling began.  “Play some &%$ Country” was yelled across the bar by a drunken version of a redneck.  I was embarrassed a little for the band but they handled it like professionals and I was highly impressed.  Scott and Boyd never stopped smiling and continued to play.  The Redneck Heckler never gave up.  Again he yelled, “Play some &%$ Country”.   Finally, the band gave in a little and whipped out a rendition of “Turn the Page”, by Bob Seger with a Metalica flare as so introduced by Boyd.  I would say I thoroughly enjoyed this rendition of the song.
Then in this effort to appease the heckler they performed Lynyrd Skynyrd's, “Sweet Home Alabama”.  This made them happy of course.  What down home country bar does not enjoy Lynyrd Skynyrd and Bob Seger.   Next they played a song that I called, “Knockin' on the Lunch-Lady's Door”.  It was an awesome version of “Knockin' on Heaven's Door”, Beginning in the style of Bob Dylan and ending in the style of Gun ‘N' Roses.  In the middle during the instrumental vocal break, Boyd inserted Adam Sandler's “The Lunch-Lady Song” with sloppy joe, slop sloppy joe”
This proved the band had a genuine humorous side to them.  The band continued to play as professionals and were able to ignore the Ozzy Osbourne Look-a-like as she danced and was pawed by two different guys on the dance floor.  I personally felt I needed to splash my eyes with holy water.  Overall, this is a great band.  I would personally recommend them.   Last, I would like to apolize for my amateur photography.  Out of the 20 shots and several video clips I took, only 5 were ok.  That wasn't even enough for this page.  I inserted two photo's from their site to make it complete.
