SULFATE is a high-powered, high energy metal group blending the musical styles of Metallica, Static-X, and Black Label Society. Driven by the distinctive vocal and instrumental talents of Lead Singer/Lead Guitarist/Ryan Nix, this all-out audio assault is backed by the skillful technique of guitarist Austin Eblen, the rhythmic expression of drummer Tyler Wentworth, and by the Six Fingers of Death of bassist SHOVELFACE.
Formed in late 2002, SULFATE is following in the footsteps of other notable Kentucky bands, such as Tantric, Black Stone Cherry, and Flaw. SULFATE's mission is to bring their brand of metal to the masses!!
